Robert Jesse "Bob" Davis, Sr., 84, of 103 Highland Drive, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, in Anderson, South Carolina. Bob was born in Campobello, South Carolina, on August 20, 1936, a son of the late Floyd D. Davis and Jesse Johnson Davis. He was the husband of Joyce Sherlan Bartlett Davis. Mr. Davis was a retired United Sates Navy, Chief Warrant officer having served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was the retired owner and operator of DRG Industrial Electronics in Wellford, South Carolina, a member of Duncan First Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon and Sunday school teacher.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Davis is survived by two daughters, Jeannie D. Bolmon and her husband, Eric, of Westminister, South Carolina; Tracy D. Parris and her husband, Jeff, of Cowpens, South Carolina; a son, Robert J. Davis, Jr. and his wife, Wieni, of Cambodia; seven grandchildren, Randy Steadman, Nicole Gilmer, Danielle Keeler, Hannah Parris, Terrance Hightower, Nicole Davis and Andrea Davis. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, Kylie, Cheyenne, Maddie, Jemma, Abby, Camilla, Jaxon Davis, Mckenzie, Elania, and a brother, Larry Davis, of Cocoa, Florida.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Duncan First Baptist Church in Duncan, South Carolina. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Duncan First Baptist Church, conducted by, Rev. Mitch Crow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Duncan First Baptist Church,Bus Fund, 103 East Main Street, Duncan, SC 29334.
