Robert Lee "Bob" Bishop, 86, of 150 Buena Vista Dr. Campobello, SC, passed away Sunday, February 23rd, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bishop was the son of the late Isaac Newton and Bessie Reeves Bishop and the widower of the late Margaret Alverson Bishop.
For many years he was the Owner/Operator of Bob's Full Service Car Wash & Lube Service in Spartanburg, SC and a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge #201 and the Jamil Shrine Temple in Columbia, SC. He was also a past president of the Inman Jaycees.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Bishop and his wife Michele of Spartanburg, SC, Wayne Bishop of Inman, SC. four grandchildren, Stacy Leigh Bishop, Amber Bishop, Michael Bishop and his wife Colleen and Holly Bishop West and her husband Mark.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1451 Compton Bridge Rd., Inman, SC conducted by his pastor Rev. Jack Hames.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box 2151, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38101-2151. The family is at their respective homes.
