Richard L Dunham born 10/2/1934, passed away peacefully on 1/1/25 after a short illness. Richard, known as Dick, started his life in Syracuse NY and is predeceased by his four brothers.
Dick worked most of his life as a paper salesman with the Garrett Paper Company, Syracuse NY, where he met his wife, Norma (Jeannie). In his younger years, Dick was part of the National Guard, and worked at Acme is North Syracuse. Dick and Jeannie lived in multiple states including Lafayette and Theresa NY, Newville PA, Roanoke, VA, and lately in Boiling Springs SC. Dick and Jeannie had a devout Christian faith and were members of the Dickinson Presbyterian Church in Carlisle PA.
Dick leaves his wife, Norma Jean, four stepchildren, Wendy LaFountaine (SC), Cindy Vivlamore (FL), Steven LaFountaine (GA) and Shane LaFountaine (SC), and three natural children, Kathy Lengyel (OH), Steven Dunham (CO), and Christopher Dunham, (unk).
There will be no services for Dick. Any donations should be made to any elderly care institution of your choosing that truly understand the plight of Senior Americans: Parkinson Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and/or Memory Loss.
