Richard Franklin Burnett, 63, of 700 Wilkins Ford Road, Inman, SC, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum.
Richard was born in Asheville, NC on August 28, 1957, a son of the late Dorothy Huggins Burnett and Kenneth Jackson Burnett. He was the husband of Judy (Nicholson) Burnett and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by a daughter, Karma Burnett of Cowpens, South Carolina, a son, Neal Burnett, of Inman, South Carolina; a brother, Kenneth Burnett, of Inman, South Carolina, adopted son, Chase Wilson, five grandchildren, Emma Tate, Noah Tate, Jonah Tate, Atticus Miller and Lukus Miller, adopted grandchildren, Jace Miller, Lilliana Miller and Cayleigh Wilson. He was predeceased by a sister, Felicia Greer and a granddaughter, Nissa Miller.
He served in the U.S. Marines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
