Richard J. Baum, 73, of 154 Sellars Drive, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Richard was born in Clovis, New Mexico on August 8, 1944, a son of the late Rufus J. Baum and Shauna Ruth Fallis Baum. He was the husband of Georgia Lee Franklin Baum. Mr. Baum was a retired employee of Highland Enterprises in Idaho. He also owned and operated his own ranch in Idaho.
In addition to his wife , Richard is survived by five children, Ronald J. Baum and his wife, Clarica of Inman, South Carolina; Carol Ann Terrill and her husband, Erick of Kingman, Arizona; Kenneth James Baum and his wife, Julie of Las Vegas, Nevada; Timothy H. Baum and Zeke Sellars of Inman, South Carolina; Shauna Herzog and her husband, Brian of Pullman, Washington; a brother, Joseph Anderson Baum and his wife, Sherrie of Port Orchard, Washington; seven grandchildren, Tyler Baum; Diedre Terrill; Sarah Baum; Emma Baum; Amanda Williams and her husband, Joshua; Justin Baum; Freyja Herzog and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Jayden Williams.
