Rhonda Theresa Mooney

Rhonda Theresa Mooney, 67, of 63 Bobo Street, Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at her home. Rhonda was born in Spartanburg, SC on April 26, 1957, a daughter of the late Shirley (Dodd) Rookard and James Bruton and stepmother, Henrietta Bruton.

She was the wife of Roger Mooney, a homemaker and a member of Ridgeville Baptist Church. Rhonda was also a gifted seamstress.

In addition to her husband, Rhonda is survived by two sons, Rodney Mooney and wife Amanda, of Duncan, SC; Roger Mooney, of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Deborah Gray, of Anderson, SC; Pamela Drummond, of Greer, SC; Michelle Evans, of Lyman, SC; a brother, Kenneth Bruton, of Wellford, SC, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family is at her home and will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 20th at Ridgeville Baptist Church in Inman, SC. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 20th at Ridgeville Baptist Church with Rev Amos Durham officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC.
