Reggie Walter Cox, 70, of 210 Pinefield Circle, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 in Williamson Medical Center, Franklin, TN.
Reggie was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 23, 1946, the son of the late Walter H. and Grace Chaffin Cox . He was married to the late Barbara Ann Davis Cox for over 44 years. Reggie was an independent distributor for Little Debbie Snack Cakes and was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Inman, SC. He was a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge # 201 where he had served as Past Master. He is survived by two daughters; Melissa Marlow and husband Todd of Campobello, Beth Kuykendall and husband Allen of Landrum, six grandchildren; Kyle David Marlow and wife Keri, Julia Logan Marlow Atkins, Allen Bill Kuykendall, Anna Grace Kuykendall, Melissa Marie Kuykendall, Jorge Avilia Kuykendall and two great grandchildren; Emersyn Skye Marlow and Greyson Reid Marlow. He was predeceased by two sisters: Vickie Cox Tate and Ruth Brewster. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Reggie Cox will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church, 1919 Highway #11, Landrum, SC, at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2017 with Rev. Lynn Stewart officiating. The family is at the home and will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 1:30 until 3:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church. A service of Masonic Rites will be held at a later date at Inman Masonic Lodge # 201 and will be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Grove Baptist Church Children's Ministry, 826 Oak Grove Rd., Landrum, SC 29356.
