Reba Lee Knecht

Spartanburg, SC---Mrs. Reba Lee Knecht, 80, of 9251 Fairforest Rd., passed away on Monday, July 25th, 2011 at her residence. Born in Wrightsville, GA on March 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Lee and Theola (Hammock) Sweat. Mrs. Knecht worked with Fowler Brothers Cleaner for many years and was a member of Center Point Presbyterian Church in Moore, SC.
She is survived by one son, Fred Knecht, III and one daughter, Kathleen Chase both of Fairforest, SC; one brother, John Curtis Sweat of Florida; and two sisters, Hazel Flemming of Spartanburg and Clara Purkhiser of Boiling Springs, SC; along with two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Katie Browell.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 2-3PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will begin at 3PM in the Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Darel Finch officiating.
