Ray "Shorty" Human

Ray Edward "Shorty" Human, 72, husband of Joyce Smith Human of 770 Edwards Road died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 in Mary Black Memorial Hospital. A native of Spartanburg county, he was a son of the late Henry Lee and Jessie Nix Human. Mr. Human was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church and was retired from Sloan's Construction.
In addition to his wife, other survivors include a son, Tommy Human of Inman, a daughter, Diane Linder of Cowpens, a brother, Cecil Human of Spartanburg, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Randy Human and three brothers, William, Lloyd, and Frank Human.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Mark Williams, Rev. Sandra Smith, and Rev. Wilbur Lee Hall. The grandchildren will serve as honorary escorts. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
The family is at the home of his brother in law, Wilbur Smith, at 424 Miller Farm Road, Inman and will receive friends following the funeral service at Seawright Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice 6000 Pelham Road Suite B, Greenville, S. C. 29615.
