Randy Dearl Strange of Campobello went home to be with Jesus in Heaven on Thursday, June 18, 2015. He was born in Savannah, Georgia February 3, 1958. He was preceded in death by his father, Randolph O. Strange.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley A. Strange of Campobello; a brother, Terry R. Strange (Sheila) of Greer; a sister, Deborah A. Frady of Holly Springs; he is also loved and adored by his nephews, Stephen Frady (Jennifer), Jordan Strange; a niece, Amanda Gray (James) and two great nephews; J.C. and Declan Gray; many cousins, aunts, uncles, and many good friends. He was loved so much by his mother and all of his family. He had a heart of gold.
He was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman. Randy was an auto mechanic, the very best. He was an avid race car fan and worked with several race car teams at many races; a real fan of Dale Earnhart.
He had many friends through his church family and in racing.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 21, 2015 1:00-3:00 at Holston Creek Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 3:00 conducted by Dr. Reggie Parker and Rev. Barry Neely. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to flowers, memorials may also be made to Holston Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 311 Holston Creek Church Road, Inman, S.C. 29349.
