Randall C. Bishop of Inman, South Carolina, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 26, 2026 at Agape Hospice House.
Randall was born on November 5, 1928, to Willie Jay and Cleo Bishop. He was the oldest of eight children and spent his younger years working on the family farm, where he learned the value of hard work and stewardship. These lessons remained with him throughout his life, and he faithfully used the blessings God had given him.
After graduating from Boiling Springs High School, Randall began working at Community Cash Stores in 1947.
He remained with the company until his retirement in 1991. During his career, he was promoted to store manager in 1977 and successfully managed stores in three separate locations.
Randall proudly served his country in the United States National Guard and Army Reserves from 1946 until 1955.
On July 16, 1950, Randall married the love of his life, Aileen Johnson. Together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage until her passing on May 12, 2002.
A faithful servant of the Lord, Randall was a dedicated member of Hope Church and a founding member of Graceway Church, where he served as a board member. He led his family by both word and example and spent countless hours in prayer and Bible study. His steadfast faith sustained him through times of joy and sorrow alike, and he leaves a lasting spiritual legacy for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Randall will be remembered for his friendly personality, kind spirit, and the strong faith he shared with everyone he met.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Donna Darnell (Terry) and Diane Klinetop (Steve); his grandsons, Thomas Klinetop (Mikki) and Austin Darnell (Jazmin); and his great-grandchildren, Braylee Darnell, Emma Darnell, Kallie Darnell and Zachariah Snow.
He is also survived by his sisters, Nancy Moorman, Laura Stone and Juline Walters (George); sisters-in-law, Thelma Cothran and Jennie Bishop; along with many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, Randall was preceded in death by his sisters, Audrey Bishop Page and Mary Bishop Murray; and his brothers, Garvin Bishop and Weldon Bishop.
A celebration of Randall’s life will be held at Hope Church on May 31, 2026 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm – 2:45pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Miracle Hill Ministries, Evans Training Center, or Hope Church.
