Ralph Olin "Paco" Hensley, Sr, went home to be with his Lord on March 15, 2013. Ralph was 55 years old on March 5. He lived at Lake Blalock in Chesnee, SC. Ralph passed from a short battle with cancer. His friends and family were at his side at the Regional Hospice House.
He had worked as a carpenter and master builder for 40 years, even up to a few days before going into the hospital. He was of the Methodist faith.
Ralph was survived by his wife, Sarah Gilbert Hensley of the home, a sister, Betty Cartee of Spartanburg, his children; Tim Burnett and Robin of Boiling Springs, Michelle Huitt and Darrell of Inman, Ryan Gilbert and Nikki of Spartanburg, Casey Stokes and Tyler of Milton, Fla., and Ralph Jr. "Bubba" and Donna of Chesnee. He also has 7 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends. He was predeceased by his mother, father, brothers, and sisters. Funeral arrangements are as follows: A memorial service will be held at Community Baptist Church on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00am by Rev. Bill Jolly. Please come and join his family and friends as they celebrate his life! Directions to the church are as follows: From I-26 to I-85 towards Greenville, take exit #66 (Wellford/Hyw. 29), at stop sign turn left, next traffic light turn right onto Nazareth Church Road, immediately turn right onto New Hope Road; at stop sign go straight into Brookside Village; at stop sign go straight across to Community Baptist Church (8A Windmill Drive, Wellford, SC 29385)
