Mrs. Rachel Stone Tarquinio of Ventura, California died November 28, 2009 at her home after a two year battle with cancer. Born July 28, 1929, she was a daughter of the late W.P. and Nonnie M. Stone who were from Inman. She was retired from North Ridge State University as a Radiologist. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Beatty and grandson, Ian Beatty, both of Ventura, California, a sister, Mrs. Peggy B. Ballenger of Inman, and a brother, A.J. Stone of Landrum. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S. C. 29303
