Mr. Ratchford Kendrick Blackwood, Jr., 66, of 63 Blackstock Road died Monday, April 14th, 2008 at Magnolia Manor of Inman
Mr. Blackwood was born in Spartanburg on March 13, 1942, the son of the late Rathford Kendrick Blackwood Sr. and Etolia Johnson Blackwood who survives him of Inman, SC..
He was a member of Inman First Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a 1969 graduate of The University of South Carolina.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jada L. McBride of Hollywood, Florida, a brother, Eber Blackwood of Inman, two nephews and one great niece.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 11:OOam on Friday, April 18th, conducted by Rev. Paul Moore and Mr. Eddie Whitaker.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday 10-11:OOam at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Baptist Church Building Fund 14 N, Howard Street Inman, SC 29349.
