Phyllis Lawter Cothran, 75, entered into the presence of Jesus, on April 29, 2022. A native of Inman SC, the daughter of the late Harold and Louise Lawter, she was predeceased by her precious husband, Thomas. Following retirement from SC Vocational Rehabilitation, Phyllis continued to serve her Inman Mills Baptist Church family as a Sunday School, VBS and GAs teacher. She served her community with her husband, Tom, delivering Mobile Meals. Survived by her cherished family, her son, Kyle Cothran (Jennifer) of Duncan SC, grandsons, Christopher (deceased), MacKenzie, Mason and Noah. Brother, Mike (Janet) Campobello SC, Sisters Susan (Van) Maxwell, Inman SC, Linda Burch (Gary) Campobello SC, Debbie McClure (Eddie) Inman SC, as well as sisters-in-law, Glenda Mabrey (Jackie), Sandy Bishop (Teddy), Faye Cothran (the late Bob) of Inman SC, nieces and nephews, and a very dearest friend, Alice Pierce of Roebuck SC. She was also predeceased by her dear friend Betty Robertson. Graveside services will be at Roselawn Cemetery, Inman SC at 11:00 a.m. officiating the Reverend Jack Hames. in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mobile Meals or Inman Mills Baptist Church Hames Family Life Center.
