Philip "Phil" Joseph DeSena, 87, of 658 Hibbard Farm Road, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at his home. Phil was born in Walpole, MA. on December 7, 1927, a son of the late Rose and Philip John DeSena and was the husband of Carol (Anderson) DeSena. He retired as a Mechanical Engineer from Stone and Webster Engineering and was of the Catholic faith. He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II. In addition to his wife he is survived by five daughters, Kristine Craig, of Salisbury, NC; Silvia Mariani, of Inman, SC; Lori Fox (Andrew), of Long Meadow, MA; Vicki Bradley, of Garden Grove, CA; Cheryl McCrevan (Terence), of Braintree, MA; two sons Philip Joseph DeSena, Jr, of Raleigh, NC; William DeSena, a sister, Beatrice Tranfaglia (Richard), of Roslindale, MA., 1l grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
