Penh Vorn, 67, husband of Kin Phon of 2 Montford Avenue Boiling Springs died Monday, December 13, 2010 in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Cambodia, he was a son of the late Vorn Hen and Herng Prach. He retired from Simkins Industries. He was affiliated with the Buddhist Temple in Wellford, SC and had served with the Cambodian-US military.
In addition to his wife, Kin Phon, he is survived by two sons, Keo Vorn and his wife Chanta Vorn of Boiling Springs, Chnok Vorn and his wife Phanna Keo of Boiling Springs, a daughter, Sokun Vorn of Boiling Springs, a sister, Lay Vorn of Cambodia, and six grandchildren, Davy Vorn, David Vorn, Sabreena Vorn, Levi Theng, Aaron Theng, and Riley Huggins.
The body will be taken to the Buddhist Temple in Wellford on Saturday at 4:00pm and will be taken to Seawright Funeral Chapel and Crematory at 1:00pm Sunday.
