Peggy Jean Chesney Woodfin, 77, of 370 Nanney Road, Inman, SC, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Peggy was born in Inman, S.C. on July 3, 1943, a daughter of the late Gladys (Pruitt) Chesney and Louis K Chesney.
She was the wife of Jeff G Woodfin, a homemaker and a member of Landrum Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, Peggy is survived by a daughter, Pam Woodfin Amburn, of Spartanburg, SC; two sons, Jeff Woodfin, II and wife Pamela, of Reidville, SC; Pete Wilson and wife Tonya, of Boiling Springs, SC, a brother, Bud Chesney of Panama City, FL, 5 grandchildren and 9 great, grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Landrum Presbyterian Church with Rev Jan Culpepper officiating. The family is at her home and will receive friends Friday from 12:00 Noon - 1:40 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in remembrance of Peggy, may be made to Memorial Bench, C/O Pamela Woodfin, 133 Red Globe Lane, Woodruff, SC 29388.
