Peggy Jean Sexton, 66, of 146 Fort Prince Drive, passed away Sunday, September 9th, 2018.
Peggy was born in Spartanburg on January 3, 1952, a daughter of the late Elsie Mae Melton Hines and Charles Douglas Hines. She was the wife of Billy Ray Sexton. She worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years and was a Baptist. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters; Stacey Johnson and her husband Morris of Inman, Andrea Dunagin and her husband, Chad of Pauline, April Douglas and her husband, Adam Scheider of Phoenix, AZ, four sisters; Nancy Wiley and her husband Bufford of Spartanburg, Mary Smith and her husband Larry of Inman, Trudy Christopher and her husband Norman of Greenville, Kathy Jennings and her husband Bennie of Roebuck, and seven grandchildren; Courtney Montgomery, Madison Montgomery, Paige Harrison, David Dunagin, McKayla Dunagin, Aubrey Monserrate, and Luke Dunagin.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 4:00, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Ed Stallworth. The family will receive friends an hour before the service, 3:00 until 4:00, at Seawright Funeral Home.
