Peggy Juanita Belcher Johns, 72, of 105 Brock Street, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021, at the Spartanburg Medical Center. Juanita was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on November 9, 1948, a daughter of the late Willis Belcher and Cora Hammett Belcher. She was the widow of Glenn Lamar Johns. Mrs. Johns was a retired employee with Inman Mills and after retirement went to work as a CNA. She was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church.
Juanita is survived by a daughter, Tammy Johns and special friend, Sharon Barton, of Inman, South Carolina; a son, Scottie Johns and his wife, Marina, of Enoree, South Carolina; a sister, Frances Batson and her husband, Steve, of Duncan, South Carolina;
two brothers, Furman Belcher, of Campobello, South Carolina; and Leroy Belcher and his wife, Hattie, of Cowpens, South Carolina. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jade Shepard, Connor Johns, Christopher Johns and his wife, Brittney, Olivia Johns, Noah Johns; and her companion, Ted Johnson of Cowpens, South Carolina.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Johns was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Heidi Grace Johns - Covil.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Inman, South Carolina, conducted by, Rev. Mitch Crow.
The family requests that Covid - 19 and self-distancing protocols be observed for the service.
