Peggy Louise Ridings Hall, 79, of Lyman went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2021. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Evelyn Wilson Ridings. She was an avid gardener; always having the most beautiful flowers year round. She could grow anything. For more than 40 years, Peggy worked as a cosmetologist at Heritage Court in Spartanburg. Peggy was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She always had an encouraging word for everyone. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg where she served faithfully as a pianist for her Sunday School class. In additon to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Lee Hall, a daughter, Tonya Hall, and a sister, Joyce Ridings Thomason. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dustin and Ashley Hall, a brother, Everette Ridings of Greenville, a sister, Judy Fisher of Spartanburg and five grandchildren, Jayden, Jordan, Jaxon, Kinsley, and Kelsey.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Lake Bowen Baptist Church Cemetery at 533 Edwards Road, Inman, conducted by Rev. Sal Barone and Rev. Al Clark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, 250 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
