Peggy Ann Goforth, 79, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center, Spartanburg.
Peggy was born in Spartanburg, SC on August 15, 1941, a daughter of the late Lenora (Fuller) and Major Goforth, and was the widower of Tommy Goforth.
She was employed as an Auditor at International Wire SC, and of The Baptist Faith
Peggy is survived by a daughter, Christine Powell; grandhildren, Brandon Lundeen (Katie), Casey Johnson (Dylan), and Gabriel Powell; great grandchildren, Hunter, Makayla, Christopher, Thomas, and Isabelle Lundeen, Abygail, Lincoln, and Penny Johnson. Also survived by sisters, Dot Thornton; Cathy Owens and a brother, David Goforth. She is preceded in death by one son, Robert Goforth, two brothers, Bill Goforth, and James Fuller and a sister, Mary Darnell; and her grandmother Miranda Cagle Fuller.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 4th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC with Rev. Jerry Darnell officiating.
