Peggy Jean Belue, 57, of 915 Halls Bridge Road Campobello, passed away Wednesday, March 16th, at Golden Age, Inman with peace and grace after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side.
Peggy was born in Spartanburg on May 23, 1958, a daughter of the late Ina (Dimsdale) and Richard Gary Belue.
She was a 1976 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and attended Spartanburg Methodist College. Peggy enjoyed various crafting projects and was a dedicated employee to Walmart for 15 plus years where she made many life long friendships, although, nothing could ever compare to the love she had for her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Sara Jones (Erik) of Griswold, Iowa; a son, Benjamin Barajas of Taylors; two sisters, Mary Taylor (Rickey) of Campobello, Ann Blackman of Summerton; five grandchildren, Sebastian Barajas, Hayden Jones, Christian Oliver, Eliana Barajas, and Myles Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 635 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Rev. Charlie Glover. The family will greet friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested for her Memorial Fund, PO Box 192 Inman, SC 29349.
