Pearl Blanton Sams

Pearl Blanton Sams, 84, of 2121 Hannon Road, Inman, SC, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at her home. Pearl was born in Inman, SC on July 25, 1939, a daughter of the late Velda (Gilbert) Blanton and Zeb Blanton. She was the wife of Michael Sams.

She retired from Inman Mills and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church where she served on the bereavement committee.

In addition to her husband, Pearl is also survived by two sisters, Annie Cleveland, of Inman, SC; Myrtle Easler of Chesnee, SC, two grandchildren, Nichole Norris and Blake Sams and one great granddaughter, Whitley Norris. She was predeceased by a son, Gregg Sams and two sisters, Elsie High and Eunice Burrell

The family is at her home and will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 18th at Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman, SC Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM at Holston Creek Baptist Church with Dr Reggie Parker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
