Mrs. Pearl Cothran, 103, of 82 N. Main Street Inman died Thursday, April 3rd, 2008 at Golden Age Nursing Home.
Mrs. Cothran was born in Greenville, S.C. on September 15, 1904 and was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Liddy Lindsey Gosnell.
She was the widow of Broadus Ezra Cothran.
She is survived by a daughter, Louise Mathis of Gramling, two sons, Leroy Cothran and wife Earline of Inman, Bobby Cothran and wife Linda of Lake Greenwood, seven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. She was the last survivor of her immediate family and was also predeceased by a daughter, Inez Whitmire and a son, Hugh Cothran.
She was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman where she had been active in several different capacities.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman, SC, at 11:OOam on Saturday, April 5th, with Rev. Lee Coyle and Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Holston Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday 6-8:00 p.m. at Seawright Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals PO Box 461 Spartanburg, SC 29304.
