Paul Audary Shields, Jr

Paul Audary Shields, Jr, 59, of 395 Rocky Creek Road, Inman, SC passed away Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 at his home. Paul was born in Fingerville, SC on June 24, 1953, a son of the late Paul A and Rosa Lee (Miller) Shields. He was the husband of Alma Jewell (Smith) Shields, was employed at Spartanburg Steel for over 20 years and was a member of Lake Cooley Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge #201. Paul is survived by a son, Jeffrey Lynn Shields, of Inman; four sisters, Judy M Randolph of Holly Springs, Janice A Billodeaux of Inman, Joan Dobbins of Campobello, Jeanette Penfield of Inman; two brothers Jerry L Shields of Fingerville, James Shields of Campobello and 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Joyce Blackwell. The family is at the home and will receive friends today, April 12, 2013 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM today with Rev Mark Cannon and Rev Donnan Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, Wellford, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals, P0 Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
