Mr. Paul Edward Parris
Mr. Paul Edward Parris, 71, of 102 Lytle Street, Spartanburg, SC passed away Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Parris was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 17, 1938, the son of the late Joseph R and Grace (Henderson) Parris. He was the husband of Gail (Burnett) Parris for 48 years.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons: Eddie Parris, II of Inman, Daniel Richard Parris of the home, 1 sister: Dorothy Oliver of Spartanburg, 1 brother: John W Parris of Columbia, SC and 1 granddaughter: Kayla Parris.
Mr Parris was a retired highway patrol, attended the Police Academy, was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy Seabees.
A memorial service will be held at Fairforest Baptist Church today, October 15, 2009 at 3:00 PM conducted by Rev Gary Hensley and Rev Joe Dempsey. The family will receive friends in the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairforest Baptist Church, PO Box 338 Fairforest, SC 29336.
