Paul L. Fasig

Pauline, SC---Paul L. Fasig, Jr., 80, of Pauline, SC, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014. Born in Allentown, PA on July 8, 1933, he was son of the late Paul L. and Jayne (Swearengin) Fasig and was the husband of Mrs. Betty Lou (Renner) Fasig. Mr. Fasig was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Spartanburg and retired from Hoechst Fibers where he worked as a mechanical engineer. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Piedmont Prospectors.

In addition to his wife, Betty he is survived by five daughters, Susan Fasig, Barbara Fasig Mason (Deval), Janet Fasig Moore (Todd), Linda Fasig Smith (Jerry) and Paula Fasig Towe (Chip) along with one brother, Jim Fasig and fifteen grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 626 Norwood St., Spartanburg, SC 29302, at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 12th, with Rev. Steve Holler officiating. A time of visitation will be held immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Nicaraguan Mission Fund, 626 Norwood Street Spartanburg, SC 29302.
