Paul Douglas Cato, Sr.
Paul Douglas Cato, Sr., 87, of 1114 East Georgia Road, Woodruff, SC, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Woodruff Manor. Paul was born in Borden, SC on July 2, 1933, a son of the late Wilhelmina (Prescott) Cato and Aquilla Burrell Cato. He worked as a metal fabricator and was of the Baptist faith.
Paul is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline "Jean" Cato, of Lockhart, SC; a son, Douglas (Doug" Cato, Jr., and wife Tammy of Inman, SC; a sister, Precilla Dubose, of Sumter, SC, six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Marines.
The family will receive friends Monday at Seawright Funeral Home from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 25th at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, SC .
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
