 Patricia Melton, 83, of 141 Golightly Street, Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Upstate Community Hospice in Landrum. 

Patricia was born in Spartanburg, SC on March 9, 1940, a daughter of the late Annie Elizabeth (Johnson) Fortenberry and James J. Fortenberry.

She was the wife of Stanley Melton, retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by a daughter, Teresa Gail Wyatt (Butch), of Inman, SC, a granddaughter, McKensie Revels of Inman, two great grandchildren, Hendrix Vai Revels and Remerie Claire Revels. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Ashley Katelin Hall, a brother, Jackie Fortenberry and a sister, Betty Sizemore.
Graveside Services were held Wednesday, May 3rd at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC  with Dr Paul Moore officiating.
