Mrs. Patricia E. Burgess Cranford, 58, of 338 Waters Road, Inman passed away Tuesday, June 10th, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Mrs. Cranford was born in Spartanburg, SC on September 17, 1949, the daughter of the late George Burgess and Grace (Maxwell) Burgess Capps and was the wife of Bernard Cecil Cranford. She is survived by one brother: Jesse Burgess of Charleston, SC, two sisters-in-law: Mary Jo Cherry of Indiana, Nancy Burgess of Spartanburg and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers: Dean and Vance Burgess.

She was a school bus driver at Chapman High School for 15 years and a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church of Inman where she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class.

Funeral services will be held at Rock Hill Baptist Church of Inman at 2740 Bishop Rd., Inman, 2:00 PM on Friday, June 13th, with Rev. Heyward Calvert and Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Thursday 7-9 PM at Seawright Funeral Home, 26 E. Main St., Inman, SC.
