Pat "Yank" Marcham, Jr.

John Patrick "Yank" Marcham, Jr., 85, of 124 Colfax Drive, was called to rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a long illness, on Monday, June 19, 2017. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing. Pat was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 6, 1932, a son of the late John Patrick Marcham, Sr. and Pearl Young Marcham. Mr. Marcham was a hard worker, great provider, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Pat was an United States Marine Corp. veteran having served during the Korean War. He was formerly employed as a dockhand in Chicago, Illinois and later retired from Hugh F. Atkins Realty. Pat was a member of Turning Point Free Will Baptist Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Mr. Marcham is survived by his wife, Barbara Jo McKee Marcham, of the home; a daughter, Patti M. Fleming and her husband, Tim, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Tyler, Peyton, Tinsley and Stone.
Visitation will be held, Friday, June 23, 2017, from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, on Friday, June 23, 2017, at Seawright Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Todd Black.

When Pat entered the gates of Heaven, he was met by many relatives and friends that have passed on before and he will be missed by so many that have met him during his lifetime.
