Olivia Campbell Loftis, 93, formerly of 15 "D" St. passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Lake Emory Post Acute Care in Inman, SC. Mrs. Loftis was born in Spartanburg County on April 13, 1923, a daughter of the late James Herman and Minnie Viola Hipp Campbell. She was the wife of the late Hubert L. Loftis, a member of Little Mtn. Baptist Church and the Calley Sims Sunday School Class. She had retired from Inman Mills after 45 years of service.
Mrs. Loftis was survived by a son Jerry Loftis of Spartanburg, a daughter, Dianne Reynolds (Larry) of Inman, a sister Lorene Fox of Spartanburg, three grandchildren, Michelle Gahagan (Dean) of Chesnee, Jeremy Loftis (Melissa) of Eagle, Idaho, Marianna Del-Toro (Albert) of Spartanburg, Seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Loftis of Lyman, Matthew Stewart (Danielle) of Inman, Hannah Loftis and Alex Del-Toro both of Spartanburg, J.D. and Savanna Gahagan both of Chesnee, and Zachary Loftis of Lyman. She was predeceased by a sister, Frances Campbell, a brother, William "Bill" D. Campbell,and a beloved granddaughter, Angela Loftis.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 from 1:30 to 2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM conducted by Rev. Doug Godfrey and Rev. Ansel Norris. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Greer, SC. Memorials may be to Cancer Association of Spartanburg , 295 E. Main St., Suite 100, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
