Olivia Souther Carson

Olivia Souther Carson, 12, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, in Tabor, South Dakota. Olivia was born in Greenville, South Carolina on November 1, 2003, a daughter of Matthew Drayton Carson III and Katie Duncan Carson. Olivia was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church, a seventh grader, an avid pet lover, and a little girl that just loved to have a good time, dancing and jumping like a fairy, playing her pink guitar.
In addition to her parents, Olivia is survived by a sister, Sarah Octavia Carson; two brothers, Matthew Drayton Carson IV and Deacon Cole Carson all of the home; maternal grandparents, Tim and Wendy Duncan of Inman, South Carolina and Sherrie Evatt of Inman, South Carolina; paternal grandparents, Matthew and Carol Carson II of Greenville, South Carolina and Patricia Souther Carson of Greenville, South Carolina; Maternal great-grandparents, Bill and Faye Ballenger of Greer, South Carolina and paternal great-grandmother, Mary Souther of Blackshear, Georgia.
Funeral Services will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Inman, South Carolina, on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 2:00 PM, conducted Dr. Tim Clark and Dr. Tim Williams.
A private family committal service will be held following the service.
In lieu of flowers, Olivia's wishes would have been for memorials to be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303, in her and her loving cat, Ferguson's, honor.
The family is at the residence.
