Olin Green Howard, 92, of Inman, passed away April 9, 2023. Olin was born in Landrum, SC on February 2, 1931. He was a son of the late Connie (Ballew) Howard and Green R. Howard. Olin was the beloved husband of the late Ruby Phillips Howard. He retired from American Federal and Baumgardner Service, Inc. He was a faithful member of Holston Creek Baptist Church, where he was active in many ministries. Olin is survived by his three sons, Bill (Phyllis), Rick (Karen), and Mark (Darla), three grandchildren, Noelle Darnell (Brian), Kaylee Jouan (Steven), and Kennedy Howard, and three great grandchildren, Addison, Peyton, and Raelyn Darnell. He is survived by one brother, Raymond Howard. Olin was also predeceased by two brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 12th at Holston Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating. Visitation will follow the service in the church's Family Life Center. Olin will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman; there will not be a graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holston Creek Baptist Church, 311 Holston Creek Church Rd, Inman, SC 29349.
