Odis Gerome Fisher

Boiling Springs, SC---Mr. Odis Gerome Fisher, 83, of 916 Old Furnace Rd. went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 19, 2014.
Born in Gramling, SC on March 27, 1931 he was the son of the late Mr. Jessie Lee and Mrs. Effie (Owens) Fisher and was the husband of the late Mrs. Evelyn (Heatherington) Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was a member of Westgate Baptist Church and worked as a diesel truck mechanic for most of his life.
He is survived by one son, Roger Fisher of Inman; one daughter, Vicki Hazard (Jerry) of Boiling Springs; one sister, Peggy Fisher Pruitt of Inman; four grandchildren, Sherry Osborne (Paul), Shana Wood (Dean), Jeni Evans (Michael) and Chip Fisher (Summer) along with nine great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law, Raymond Duncan and one sister-in-law, Imogene Fisher and a special friend, Betty Brooks.
He was predeceased by one son, Randall J. "Randy" Fisher, Sr.; one brother, Jessie Junior Fisher, one sister, Joyce Duncan and a brother-in-law, T.C. Pruitt.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Seawright Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Bethea and Rev. Ed Deese officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
