Mrs. Ocie McCraw Weathers, 85, of 8020 White Ave. Spartanburg died Tuesday, June 19th, 2007 at Magnolia Place, Spartanburg , SC.
Mrs. Weathers was born in Cherokee Springs, SC on March 14, 1922, the daughter of the late Romeo and Molly (Smith) McCraw, and was the widow of W. R. Weathers, Jr. and was retired from Raycord Mills.
She was a charter member of Croft Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by two daughters: Frances Dianne Ledford of Wellford, Janice Marie Hipp of Wilmington, NC, 4 sisters: Louise Skipper of Boiling Springs, SC, Grace Harris of Spartanburg, Addielee Hancock of Boiling Springs, SC, Reola Hines of Mooresburg, NC, one brother: Marshall McCraw of Spartanburg, two grandchildren: Barton Keith Ledford of Atlanta and Anna Marie Hipp of Loris, SC. She was predeceased by a sister: Mary Ruth Wells, and two brothers: Vernon McCraw and Jim McCraw.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 21st, with Rev. Larry Carter and Rev. Tom Sawyer officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
The family is at the home of her daughter Dianne, 118 Loblolly Dr., Wellford, SC and will receive friends Thursday 1-2 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home.
