O. Edward Thigpen, Jr
Otto Edward "Ed" Thigpen, Jr of Landrum, SC passed away on March 1, 2022. He was born in Columbia, SC on August 13,1956 and was predeceased by his parents; O. Edward Thigpen, Sr and Lillie Belle Mattox Thigpen (Loner). Ed is survived by his BEST BUDDY "Cotton", sisters Dianne Walker (Tim) of Columbia, Ginger Good (Tom) of Simpsonville, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews who affectionately called him "Uncle Sketti".
Ed spent many years in West Palm Beach, Florida having a successful career in contract sales and as an IT consultant. He lived his retirement years in the Greenville/Spartanburg area, enjoying his dogs, gardening, and family and friends.
The family held a private graveside service to honor his life at Shiloh Memorial Cemetery in Inman, SC.
