Norma Jean Chappell
Norma Jean Chappell, 86, of 611 Mudd Creek Road, Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Norma was born in Spartanburg, SC on October 16, 1935, a daughter of the late Pauline Marie (Plumley) Jackson and James Brock Jackson.
She was the widow of Jimmy Gene Chappell and served in the U.S. Army.
Norma is survived by two daughters, Texanne Bearden (Stan), of Roebuck, SC; Jodie Forster (Daniel), of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Janice Hawkins, of Boiling Springs; Joyce Turner, of Spartanburg, 5 grandchildren, James"Brad" Chappell (Jenn), Lee Chappell (Brittani), Leslie Forster, Jonathan White, Shanna Gregg-White and 6 great grandchildren and her dog, Bedo. She was predeceased by a daughter, Debra Chappell and a sister, Mary Edwards.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 14th at Seawright Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 15th at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
