Nonley "Preach" Cochran
Nonley "Preach" Cochran, 89, of 8020 White Ave, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Sunday, December 23rd, at Magnolia Place of Spartanburg.
Nonley was born in Fingerville, S.C. on January 27, 1923, a son of the late Mamie (Mathis) and Andy Cochran. He was the widower of Dorothy (Millwood) Cochran and retired from J.P. Graves as a mechanic. Nonley is survived by a daughter, Lisa Cochran, of Spartanburg; three sons Brian Cochran, of Spartanburg; Jimmy Cochran, of Duncan; Jerry Cochran, of Spartanburg; Mr Cochran was predeceased by sons, Randy Cochran, Bobby Dean Cochran, Danny Cochran, Jimmy "Babe" Cochran and Larry "Cricket" Cochran, brothers, Doc, Walt, Grayson, Malcomb, and Connie Cochran, sisters, Omey Blackwell, Willie Mae Hovis, and Lilian Cook. Sixteen grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also survive him. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg, SC, at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 28,2012. The family is at their respective homes.
