Boiling Springs, SC---Mrs. Nona Jean Stewart, 66, formerly of 161 Pershing Road Spartanburg passed away at the home of her son, 434 Waterford Point Drive, Boiling Springs, SC on Saturday, March 6th, 2010.
Born in Spartanburg County on September 7, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Bessie Kennedy and was the wife of the late James Caldwell Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was a member of Green Pond Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by one son, James Christopher "Chris" Stewart and his wife Renee of Boiling Springs; one brother, Marvin Kennedy of Moore, SC and two grandsons, Christopher and Nicholas Stewart.
Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice 120 Heywood Ave., Suite 300 Spartanburg, SC 29302.
