Nolan "Bim" Fisher, 88, of 2 A Street, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at his home. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late William and Ella Brice Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where he served as custodian for many years. He was predeceased by four brothers, Jessie, Boyce, P.D. and Leland Fisher and five sisters, Betty Mae Fisher, Eunice Owens, Pearl Fisher, Marie Hipp and Elizabeth Fisher. He is survived by several loving nieces and nephews. He made his home for 28 years with his special niece, Judy Hughes, her husband Mickey and children Mark Hughes and Kellie Stevens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, April I7,
2008 at Seawright Funeral Home. The funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral chapel conducted by Rev. Bill Bynum and Rev. David Erwin. Burial will be at Gramling United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home of his niece, Judy Hughes, 2A St., Inman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist
Church, 690 Park Rd., Inman or Interim Healthcare Hospice, 775 Spartan Blvd., Suite 101, Spartanburg , SC 29301.
