Nick Blanton

Nick Blanton, 74, of Inman, SC, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at his home.

Nick was born in Inman on April 19, 1951, a son of the late Pearl (Burrell) and Broadus Blanton. He is survived by two sons, Jeff Blanton and Mark Blanton and his wife Amanda; a daughter, Ashley Jackson and her husband Jerry; seven grandchildren, Madison Richardson, Carter Blanton, Hudson Blanton, Cooper Blanton, Brantley Jackson, Ellie Jackson and Colton Jackson; three brothers, Walden Blanton and his wife Janice,Wilford Blanton and his wife Ann, Junior Blanton and his wife Chris; three sisters, Betty Jo Wood, Ann Cargile and Carolyn Emory and her husband Mike; a special friend, Sharon Parham. He was predeceased by, a brother, Wayne Blanton; two sisters, Virginia Blanton and Kathleen Ramsey.

Nick was the owner and operator of Blanton's Mowing Service and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church.

The family will conduct a memorial service Sunday, November 9, 2025 at St. James United Methodist Church, 213 N. Lanford Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29301 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. James United Methodist Church.
