Nettie Belle Fowler

Campobello, SC--Mrs. Nettie Belle Fowler, 98, of 260 Babb Road passed away on Thursday, November 4th, 2010 at her residence.

Born in Inman, SC on February 29, 1912, she was the daughter of the late F.F. and Mary Lou (Cartee) Ballew and was the wife of the late Hubert Fowler.

Mrs. Fowler retired from Fairforest Jr. High school where she was the manager of the school cafeteria and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Fowler is survived one son, John Franklin Fowler and his wife Maria of Abbeville, SC; two daughters, Carolyn Dale Fowler of Campobello and Karen Rigby and her husband Harrison of Taylors, SC; three grandchildren, Tamara, Robin and Rusty and seven great-grandchildren. A very special nephew, Cecil Ballew and many other nieces and nephews also survive her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 2-3PM at Holston Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3PM at Holston Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Reggie Parker and Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating. Burial will be in the Holston Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
