Nell Cathcart Skinner, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 3rd, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum.
She was born in Greenville on May 16, 1927, a daughter of the late Emma Harvey Cathcart and William Forrest Cathcart. She was the widow of Walter Earl Skinner.
She was retired from the South Carolina farm Bureau and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church where she had been active in the Faith Sunday School Class.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Edwards and husband John, Betty Girardeau and husband Randy, a son, William Skinner and wife Martha all of Inman; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:OOam at Seawright Funeral Home conducted by Dr. Paul Moore and Jeremiah Childress. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday following the funeral service at Seawright Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Dr., Columbus, NC 28722.
