Nathan Henry Stuard, 81, of 250 Tool Road, Boiling Springs, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at home after an extended illness . Nathan was born in Gaffney, S.C. on July 31, 1936, a son of the late Ollie Smith Stuard and Claude Stuard. He was retired from S.C. Department of Social Services and was a member of Grace Baptist Church formerly in Spartanburg. Survivors include a brother, Charles Stuard; sisters, Kay Osment, Johnsie Johnson, Inez Rainey, Peggy Holden, Katherine Millwood; caregivers, Renee Sexton and Tim Peden. He was predeceased by an adopted son, Scott Webber. A memorial service will be held at Una Freewill Baptist Church, Spartanburg, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 21st, with Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating.
Interment was private in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
