Naomi W Smith, 87, of 2026 Ballenger Rd., Wellford, SC, formerly of Smith Street, Inman passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Novant Health Gaffney Medical Center, Gaffney, SC. Naomi was born in Anderson, S C on February 19, 1927, a daughter of the late Ione (Keese) Holmes and Elvin Williamson. She was the widow of Donald Dean Smith, a homemaker, and a member of Gaffney Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Solesbee of Campobello and Bonnie Smith and husband Dennis of Thomson, GA., six grandchildren, Richard and Debra Fowler of Inman, Rita and Eric Blackwell of Landrum, Allen Dover of Wellford, Michael and Kim Duckett of Spartanburg, Ray and Pam Duckett of Spartanburg, Connie and Jimmy Bayne of Blacksburg, thirteen great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. The family is at the home of Rita and Eric Blackwell, 2518 South Blackstock Road, Landrum and will receive friends Saturday 1:00 — 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Landrum, at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 7th, with Rev Dennis Tolley officiating. In addition to flowers memorials may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
