Nancy Carol Pike, 76, of 239 Apple Branch Lane Boiling Springs, passed away Friday, October 17th, at 239 Apple Branch Lane after a three year battle couageously fought with cancer.
Nancy was born in Denver, Colorado on December 7, 1937, a daughter of the late W.E. "Bill" and Hattie Geer.
She was the widow of Dennis Earl Pike, Sr. whom she was so loyally dedicated to and supportive of for 49 years of marriage.
She was a homemaker, a very active member of Gramling United Methodist Church, had been a volunteer for Mobile Meals in Spartanburg, and always put others first, even during her battle with cancer. Nancy loved being in South Carolina and the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, especially Glenwood Springs, CO where she spent much of her lifetime making memories with her family and friends.
Nancy is survived by a daughter, Beth Ann Pike Bagwell (Phil) of Boiling Springs; two sons Dennis Earl Pike, Jr (Wata) of Raleigh, NC, Jason Geer Pike (Beverly) of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Betty Johnson (late Bill) of Pueblo, CO, Judy Cully (Jack) of Weymouth, MA, a brother; Richard Geer (Caye) of Durango, CO; She was the loving and caring grandmother of three grandchildren; Nathan Pike Bagwell, Caroline Geer Bagwell, and Chantel Jade Pike.
Due to out of state relatives, a memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Interment will be in Gramling United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Gibb's Cancer Center, 101 E. Wood St. Spartanburg, SC 29301.
