Inman, SC---Mrs. Nancy Coletta O'Dell Fowler, 82, of 328 4th St. Inman passed away Sunday, June 7th, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, SC.
Mrs. Fowler was born in Jonesville, SC on July 12, 1926, the daughter of the late P. B. and Carrie Beuna (Mitchell) O'Dell.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Laurie F Everhart and husband Joe of Inman, 1 son: David B Fowler and wife Terri of Union, 2 brothers: Donald O'Dell and wife Carolyn of Spartanburg, Maurice O'Dell and wife Pat of Raleigh, NC, 3 grandchildren: Lauren E Pope, Aaron J Everhart and Autumn J Fowler. She was predeceased by a son: Stephen Fowler, 1 sister: Valerie Lybrand, and 2 brothers: William D O'Dell and Grady O'Dell. She retired from Milliken Chemicals, was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was a former member of Green Street United Methodist Church and Duncan Acres United Methodist Church, both in Union. She was a lifelong Sunday school teacher, an avid reader and a movie buff.
The family is at the home of her daughter, 126 Grandview Dr., Inman and will receive friends Wednesday, June 10 from 10:00 -11 :00AM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Inman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, with Rev. Donald O'Dell, Mr Maurice O'Dell and Rev. Bill Bynum officiating.
Burial will be in Upper Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery, Union, SC.
