Myrtle Berniece Schluchter
Myrtle Berniece Anderson Schluchter, 98, of 59 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Lake Emory Post Acute Care. Myrtle was born in Nekoma, North Dakota on June 25, 1916, a daughter of the late Edward and Ingrid (Rostvedt) Anderson. She was the widow of Murray Schluchter and was first married to the late Willard Severson. She was a homemaker and a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Auburn Hills, MI. Myrtle is survived by a daughter, Carol Allen, of Wellford, SC; a son, Willard Severson, of White Lake, Michigan, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Julie Mclellan. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 2600 Pontiac Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48326 or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
